Medical Technologist  at McLeod Health Hospital in Florence

Job Description:

Under general supervision perform a full range of laboratory tests, from simple to complex at the request of a physician. Confirm accuracy of test results and report findings to pathologist and other physicians. Evaluate new tests and new equipment and perform quality control.  

Work Schedule:
80 hours biweekly; Evening shift with weekend rotation 

Education/Experience Requirements:
Baccalaureate degree in Medical Technology plus minimum of twelve months training in accredited school of medical technology with at least 2 years work experience required. ASCP Certification strongly preferred.
