CHEERS FOR OUR DESERVING MEMBERS!!!

National Medical Laboratory Week

National Medical Laboratory Week provides the profession with a unique opportunity to increase public understanding of, and appreciation for, clinical laboratory personnel. This activity, which takes place the second week in April each year, is coordinated by the ASCLS National Office and the state society, SCSCLS. Public relations manuals, posters and recruitment materials are mailed to state coordinators, who in turn distribute the materials to local society coordinators. Many members plan displays, open houses and various other activities in their hospital, laboratory or on local TV and radio stations. National Medical Laboratory Week has been successful in increasing the recognition of clinical laboratory science among the healthcare community and general public.
